Living cost in Japan
The rent of the apartment with one bedroom and one living room(size of 16 square meters) is around 50,000-60,0000 Yen per month. When signing the agreement you need to pay the following fees before move in:
Introduction fee (equals to 1 month rental)

Deposit(equals to 1 month rental)

Prices in Tokyo are roughly as follows(Refer to the Tokyo Metropolitan Survey of September 2019):
Rice：2,223 Yen(5㎏)
Milk：218 Yen(1ℓ)
Egg：221 yen(10 eggs)
Electricity：4,000 Yen (1 month)
Gas：2,430 Yen(1 month)
Water：2,430 Yen(1 month)
Dormitory
Our dormitory is equipped with:

*Other essential things.
* There will be an additional charge of utility fees of 5000 Yen for quadruple share room or 8000 Yen for double share room.
* The deposit will be fully refund in addition to the expenses required for the loss or damage of the equipment in the room.
* The check-in fee, deposit and rental for 6 months should be paid all at once before move in. Payment can be settled on a monthly basis from the 7th month.
*The contract term is for 6 months, there will be no refund under the situation of early check-out. A written notice must be given 1 month before check-out otherwise 1 month rental fee will be charged.
*The deposit will be refund after deduction of any loss, damage and cleaning fees of the room.
Health Check(Free of Charge)
We organize free health check every year for our students, check items include:Chest radiography (X-ray) examination, blood pressure examination, urine check etc.
Health care support
If our students feel difficult at communicating at hospital we will offer language help.
National Health Insurance System
National Health insurance is designed for people who are not eligible to be members of any employment-based health insurance program. Although private insurance is also available, all Japanese citizens, permanent residents, and any non-Japanese residing in Japan with a visa lasting three months or longer are required to be enrolled
Joining NHI
People are required to join the NHI within two weeks of becoming eligible.A person applies to their local ward office or city office, which issues them with a NHI card, and invoices for the NHI premiums. The insured person then pays the premiums, and is now covered.
How the National Health Insurance works
When the insured person uses a medical facility that accepts NHI, they will only need to pay part of the cost.
The medical facility will then send invoices for the remaining amount to the National Health Insurance Federation, which reviews and pays the medical facility. After this, the NHIF reports on the invoices to the municipal office, which reimburses the NHIF.
Compensation system of mutual aid for international students( Insurance for international student)
Along with National Health Insurance our students are required to join the compensation system of mutual aid for international students(insurance of international students). This insurance compensate you when high amount of medical fees occur or when compensation is required due to the fault of the students.
Permission for part-time job
The student-visa holder can work up to 28 hours per week or 8 hours per day during a long holiday with the permission issued by Tokyo Immigration Office.
The work places such as restaurant, supermarket and food factory are common among students. According to the latest laws and regulations, the minimum hourly wage in Tokyo is 1,013 yen(from October 2019), and the average monthly income is about 110,000 Yen.
The following work is illegal(Students who are engaged with following illegal work will be severely punished or directly deported):
*Distribute flyers into mailboxes by entering private premises, room or building without permission or anything related to adult entertainment industry.
*Sale and use of counterfeit phone cards.
*Forgery of credit cards
*Illegal money transfer to overseas, illegal luggage transport to overseas
*Carrying, use and sales of illegal drugs
The illegal work places for international students include:
*Adult entertainment bar

*Karaoke club，

*Adult massage shop，
*Love hotel
*Casino(includes cleaning, cashier or any other work)
Reward from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology
The school recommend the student with great script and attendance record to the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology for 1 year reward, the reward will be paid monthly with 30,000 Yen.
Scholarship from our school
The school provides 20,000 Yen scholarship for student who passed JLPT test with full attendance record.

The student who passed JLPT N1 will be rewarded with 10,000 Yen.
The student who passed JLPT N2 will be rewarded with 5,000 Yen
The student who passed JLPT N3 will be rewarded with 3,000 Yen(non-Chinese language background)

The student will be rewarded with 10,000 Yen and receive honorary certificate at graduation ceremony.
Airport pick-up service
We will arrange airport pick-up for dormitory-staying students and take them to city hall for necessary documentation.

We will help to open account at bank if student have communication difficulty.

We will help to activate mobile phone procedure.
Admission briefing for new student
We conduct admission briefing for freshmen about school activities and living points in local community. This will help to ease the worries from the unfamiliar living environment and integrate into local life as soon as possible.
Care after school
We care about our students with their daily life and mental health and try to think from their point of view to ease worries in order to keep them in good physical and mental status to challenge learning and work.
Scholarships for foreign students studying in the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology
For students with a good learning status and good attendance, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology [Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology for Foreign Students Study Award] is recommended every year. 1 year per month
